The cine plus Online Editorial Office in Erfurt is
responsible for the www.lexi-tv.de portal. It works in tandem with
the television programme LexiTV shown on the regional MDR channel,
researches current and historical knowledge and presents it as
top-quality journalistic texts. Films produced for LexiTV, classified
by subject, can be retrieved at www.lexi-tv.de.
As the library of texts, films and pictures grows, the various
dossiers develop into higher-level editorial 'topic worlds'. At www.lexi-tv.de,
all viewers – whether they are school kids or teachers, whether they
are interested in technology, art or history – can reinforce the
knowledge they have acquired during the television programme and pick
up interesting additional information. In 2003, the knowledge portal
won the Grimme Online Award.

is a co-production by MDR and cine plus and is funded by the
Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (East German Office for Media Funding).
The Erfurt-based Editorial Office also offers other interested
parties its many years of experience in content production. |
