"Show de Bola" is a fictional story that might as well be real,
about teenagers who live in underprivileged communities and strive
for their dignity and for the survival of their dreams. Thiago is a
boy from the slums who idolizes his older brother and his father, a
soccer player who almost had his big chance, but ends up murdered in
front of Thiago. As his mother learns about the crime, she suffers a
stroke from which she would never recover. Marcos, the older brother,
finds himself in a position where he must change the course of his
life to look after his family. Ten years go by. Thiago grows up and
reveals a great aptitude for soccer. |
