Devot is a psychothriller that takes the viewers on a roller-coaster
ride into the abyss of the human soul. The film is set in an
elaborately furnished loft apartment. The motif itself becomes a work
of art thanks to the special lighting effects and excellent
cinematography. The aesthetics, which are planned to the most minute
detail, and subtle sound design provide the framework for the
gripping interaction of the characters. Devot had its premiere (as
the only German contribution) in the Panorama section of the 53rd
International Film Festival Berlin. |
